本資料集提供全臺水利署所屬之深層水準樁基本資訊，深層水準樁使用之自動量測系統包含電子式變位計與自動式記錄器，其中系統外接太陽能電源搭配蓄電池模組，透過訊號線連接自動量測地表至特定深度間之地層壓縮量；現場可以設定量測頻率（例如每小時量測一次）及啟動週期，數據資料儲存於自動記錄器，並定期將深層水準樁訊號回傳控制中心進行資料儲存與資料分析。水利署目前正常觀測之深層水準樁共計有8支(含國科會中部科學園區管理局建置之2支)，後續將視情況於地陷顯著地區增設。
